From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the mind-blowing rooftop terrace and perfect central location. The jaw-droppingly beautiful building exuded charm and the staff were incredibly super and helpful. The simple yet delicious breakfast, accompanied by some great coffee, left us feeling satisfied. The hotel was kept meticulously clean and conveniently offered parking on the courtyard. We loved how everything was within walking distance, allowing us to easily explore all the amazing sights. Plus, the 24-hour reception, free wi-fi, bar/lounge, restaurant.

The hotel is a very nice building, with fantastic terraces. The rooms are spacious. The bathroom too. My room overlooked an inner courtyard and was very quiet. The bed is firm. The breakfast is served in one of the terraces, with a fantastic view, and it is buffet type, with very rich products. The location is also very good, in a nice area near the Plaza del Duomo and with some bars and restaurants around that are worth visiting.
Cleanliness was a little lacking. The room's carpet had many stains, in the bathroom there were many corners that needed a deep cleaning (taps, soap dispensers, shower head, ..). The room smelled something unpleasant. The air conditioning is quite noisy, so you have to turn it off at night. The sheets looked a bit grey. The decoration may need to be changed.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was ideal, right in the heart of the city on a hill, allowing for beautiful views. The renovated palace added a touch of elegance to the whole experience. The service was impeccable, from the friendly staff at the 24-hour reception to the attentive restaurant and bar staff. They even went above and beyond by catering to our specific requests, like removing garbage from our room. The room amenities were top-notch, including the air conditioning, mini-bar, and in-room safe. We also appreciated the free toiletries provided and the convenient flat-screen TV in the room.
Simply put, we would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Splendid view over Catania until the Sea from our room. Great offer, and a good breakfast on the terrace in the morning.
Air conditioning a bit loud in the room, switched it off anyway, so no issue.

Great location in the city center, nice hotel staff, never had any problems with anything. A decent breakfast buffet, given that Italians normally only have a very, very small breakfast.
The room was a bit dark; one of the lights was not working, making it even darker. Not a major problem, just a bit strange. Also, the hallways to our room were quite dark.

I cannot commend the staff highly enough. Helpful beyond the call of duty. The hotel is located perfectly for tours of both Catania and Mount Etna. The rooms may seem gloomy at first but ours was comfortable although the bathroom was a little cramped everything worked fine and it was clean. Meals on the terrace at breakfast and for dinner at night were superb. Very friendly waiters. But again, I must stress that the Reception staff were fantastically helpful and pleasant. Not concerning the hotel, but if you arrive by bus at the port, be careful of rogue taxis. Local youths who are not taxis, but just announce they are. When you get in and see their swimming gear, lack of a meter.....

The general decor was very attractive - done out in a boutique style, but not pretentious. Situation near the duomo is perfect. Breakfast was very good, generous selection of food, served on an attractive terrace over looking the city. Excellent value for money, and very friendly and helpful staff.

Perfectly located in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the vibrant fish market and square with a stunning fountain. Easy access to the beautiful coast and the main rail and bus station. The hotel facilities were great and the breakfast served on the lovely terrace was a real highlight, featuring fresh and tasty pastries. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Nothing, all excellent. The hotel provided everything we needed for a wonderful stay in this culturally rich city.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Catania. Very large spacious room, very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast. Very good value for money.
Though the location is great being so near to everything, we had a nightmare trying to find the place by car due to the one way systems and adapting to the sicilian way of driving. I would recommend you try arriving at the siesta time, between 2 and 6ish and that you have your route planned out fully before arriving in Catania
